2004 - Filings

The word filing in jeweler's language refers to metal particles that are torn with a file, saw or other tools. These particles are so minute they find themselves in the cracks of your fingers or small cuts.

Dani has been making jewelry for 70 years. His hands are full of cracks and he has a painful back, but he is still working. He maintains the ability to be excited by new jewelry pieces.

This exhibition was a tribute to all those who taught me almost everything in this profession without a sense of superiority. A tribute to my old jeweler friend.

Location: MX Espai, Barcelona city.
